There is no such thing as a bad writer. There are only writers who haven’t had enough practice yet.

When we talk about the other core subjects - math and science - and make comments on our weaknesses with them, we don’t say we are bad mathematicians or bad scientists: we comment about being bad at math or bad at science.

But with weaknesses in writing, we take on an identity and say

“I’m a bad writer.”

There are writers who haven’t had a lot of practice, writers who are new to a certain way of communicating, writers who were shamed because of their skill level, etc.

Writing is not some magical thing that people either have or they don’t.

Writing is a skill and ANYONE can learn it.
