I have worked alongside some amazing educators where collaboration and mental/emotional support came naturally.
I’ve also been employed with teachers who simply “clocked in and clocked out,” doing the least amount they could to get the job done.

Even though teachers are surrounded by people all day, the behind-the-scenes prep work, grading, and decision-making can feel quite lonely.

My Experience
My work has primarily been in English classrooms, making me ideal to support educators working in the humanities. I taught 9th-, 11th-, and 12th-graders, as well as college-level composition and creative writing classes.
For three years, I ran a university-wide experiential education program. This was a completely online program, and as the instructor of record for the introductory course (with the help of 7 TAs), we taught 1,200 students per semester.
My entire teaching experience has been in required courses, allowing me to customize instruction methods, curricula, and assignments for neurodiverse students, individuals with learning disabilities, people for whom English is a second language, including international students from 20+ countries.
I’m passionate about supporting teachers in customizing their curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners, regardless of whether instruction is delivered face-to-face, in hybrid formats, or online.
